Environmental

At Forms Plus, we are committed to a responsible commercial approach to environmental issues and to maintaining a high level of awareness of these issues not only in the products that we supply but in all our business activities.

We only supply print to you, from suppliers who source first class raw materials from monitored forest resources and in accordance with strict environmental guidelines that are certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification).

All our integrated label products can be supplied using 100% re-cycled paper stock, but we have a duty to our customers to inform them that the chemicals involved in processing waste paper into bright white re-cycled paper stock may be more harmful to the environment than using 100% FSC accredited virgin pulp. No definitive ruling has been given to the industry to date.

Our pro-active environmental policy means that we have sourced a new integrated label document - 'Recyc-label'  that is the first product of it's kind to be produced on 100% re-cyclable material. Forms Plus are the only agents for this product in the UK that was developed in Europe to meet new legislative requirements.

Forms Plus also has an internal re-cycling policy in order to reduce waste going to landfill and to maximise the amount of waste that is not re-cycled and we are also a certificated 'Carbon Neutral' company. All our emissions as a company include business travel, employee commuting, heating, landfill waste etc. have been calculated and checked and have been offset by contributing to a green energy project.

We recognise the impact that our industry has on the environment and to that end we can calculate the impact in CO2 terms of every print order that we produce. Should clients wish, we can offset these costs by contributing to an offsetting scheme of their choice on their behalf or put customers in touch with the appropriate organisations.
