Case study: Figleaves.com
figleaves.com is described as ‘the ultimate online destination for lingerie, underwear, loungewear, swimwear, nightwear and shapewear – for men and women’. Each season figleaves.com launch thousands of new items and ideas across their site. Each month, over 1.2 million customers visit their site and they deliver to over 100 countries.
When Forms Plus first started working with figleaves.com they had been using a laser label sheet which was constructed with a full silicone backing liner and then they moved to a standard integrated label form.
When the team at Forms Plus conducted a review of the needs of figleaves.com in relation to their integrated label despatch note, it became apparent that they needed a form that was not only of high quality in both appearance and usability through their printers but that would help them in their mission to reduce the impact of their packaging on the environment.
The team at Forms Plus worked hard to source a product that fulfilled all of the requirements, including budgetary ones and presented the liner-less ‘Recyc-label’ option to them. This type of integrated label form has no silicone release liner applied to the sheet and is fully recyclable. Due to the large amount of label area on the figleaves.com despatch note, this substantially increased the area of recyclable material as the whole form could now be put in to the recycling system.
After extensive trials of the ‘Recyc-label’ figleaves.com adopted this product for their despatch forms for their online operation.
Below are some images of the make up of the figleaves.com form and comparison photos of a standard integrated form and a liner-less ‘Recyc-label’.
