Forms Plus receives Bronze awardWritten: April 1, 2016
Forms Plus joined the Healthy Workplace Scheme in order to promote wellbeing and happiness to all employees.
As a business, we have a strong ethos relating to staff care and support and we are always looking for new ways to motivate staff and encourage team building.
The workplace is a setting where many people spend the largest proportion of their time and therefore we can play a key role in contributing to the health of our employees.
The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Workplace Health Scheme encourages employers to think about ways to improve the health and wellbeing of their employees.
Over the past 12 months we have participated in organising healthy lunch and breakfast buffets, supplying fresh fruit daily, weight checks as well as health checks and exercising events including beach games and lunchtime walks.
As a result of our success as a team and as a business in developing a healthy and happy lifestyle in the workplace, we were presented with a bronze award by the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Workplace Health Scheme. This award recognises our achievement in accomplishing and contributing to a healthy workplace environment.
The project has enabled us to focus on our current practice in the workplace and think of innovative ways to engage people in keeping fit and healthy.
Our aim for the next 12 months is to schedule in regular lunchtime walks, organise healthy breakfast buffets and prepare for the Tuff Enuff challenge in May 2016.
